Jonathan Kent earned his Roofing Contractor's License from the State of California in February of 2011, and then started Kent Roofing Company. Sam, his dad, joined Kent Roofing Company as Site Superintendent and Head of Sales. Kent Roofing is truly a family owned and operated business. Douglas Kent started a residential home maintenance company called Allied Home Services in the 70's. It was not long before roof repair and preventative maintenance was recognized as his specialty. The demand of his customers on roofing projects dominated the business. When Doug passed away, Allied Home Services stayed in the family and was taken over by Doug's son Sam Kent. Sam, along with his two sons, Jessie and Jonathan continued to serve their customers and honor the level of craftsmanship that Douglas had established. In 2008 Jonathan left the family business to pursue experience in commercial roofing. For the next four years Jonathan trained with the best tradesmen in one of the Bay Area's premier commercial roofing companies.
